“M波浪”（M-WAVE）简介
M波浪集两种功能于一体，能使各种梦想成真。
1998年举办长野冬季奥林匹克运动会时, M波浪是速滑比赛会场，曾经使日本举国欢腾。长野残疾人奥运会时，曾经是开幕式、闭幕式和雪橇冰球的比赛场。
另外，2007年举办世界特殊奥林匹克运动会时，作为开、闭幕式会场迎接了来自世界各国的运动员。
如今，M波浪具备两种功能：冬天作为日本顶级的滑冰赛场；夏天则作为丰富多彩的娱乐会场使用。它是长野县内最大的比赛场，利用其宽敞舒适的空间可以举办体育、音乐、文化以及各种活动，能满足各种场合的需求。

这座建筑物有世界上最大型的木构架悬吊天棚，使用了信州产落叶松的层压板材，富于独创性。
1997年，日本的建筑结构首次获得“英国建筑结构技术者协会”设定的构造奖中的特殊奖。
这个奖项在全世界是非常有权威的奖项，专门授给特别卓越的建筑物与建筑结构，过去，悉尼歌剧院等著名建筑也曾获此殊荣。
日本第一座室内四百米双滑道、优质且容易创造好成绩的滑冰场
M波浪为经常创造出最好的滑行条件，设有使用计算机监控的冰场水质改良机和冰温管理系统，通过专业人员的“眼睛”保持着透明度高、清纯洁净的冰质。
M波浪作为不断创造新记录的优质滑冰场正受到人们的关注。
举办过无数大型速滑锦标赛
同时，还作为全国各地少年选手憧憬的滑冰场，受到高度评价。
内有6500个观众席位，通过日本首个最新联网化测量显示系统与大型画面高清显示装置，能实时传达这座滑冰场里不断发生的波澜起伏、富有戏剧性的、令人感动的场面。
欢迎您全家光临这座值得纪念的滑冰场
椭圆形滑冰场外侧的一周有400米长、15米宽，内侧有30米×60米的冰球场。还开办滑冰教室的滑冰讲座，举办乘坐制冰车体验等各种活动。每年约有10万名滑冰者到场。
特别是在滑冰场免费开放期间，同时举办冰雕展等很多别具匠心的活动，使各年龄段的人们除滑冰外，还能享受多种乐趣。
为人类和环境考虑周到的环保设计
M波浪的设计是以保护环境和人类为宗旨的。1.利用冷冻机为冰场降温时排出的余热为馆内供暖，这在世界上是首次应用于实际的热交换技术的成果。
2.M波浪山墙面上的大型天窗，能自然采光和自然通风，使场馆内舒适惬意的同时，还为节约能源做出贡献。
3.制冷设备装有氨螺旋冷冻机，为了保护环境，该冷冻机未使用氟利昂。
多功能赛场 空间可随意调整
内设固定座位最多约有6500个，如果移动成圆形时，约能容纳3000个座位。
由于能变成多种多样的形状，所以举办音乐会、体育活动、典礼和集会自不待言，还能自由自在地利用空间，同时举办两个活动等等。
顶棚最高43米，能使众多参加者从容舒适地享受高大宽阔的空间。
高大的空间还适合举办商品交易会和大型展览会
场馆内可分布很多临时设置的小房展台，形成一个理想的布局。每年还举办很多商品交易会或大规模的展览会等活动，每年约有25万人到访M波浪，饱享这里的乐趣。
场馆内还能举办容纳约300台汽车的交易会或农机具、露营车等大型交易会。
同时，M波浪院内还有可容纳约900台来宾车辆的停车场空间。
长野奥林匹克博物馆
鲜明地再现1998年长野奥林匹克运动会和残疾人运动会时的激动场面。
这里展出当年比赛时用过的体育用具的实物。
是介绍激动人心的奥运期间有关内容的纪念展台。

火炬
当年的圣火就是由火炬手举着这只火炬，按三条路线跑遍全国所有的都道府县和长野县内的全部市镇村，传递到奥运会开幕式会场的。
倒计时Ｔ恤衫
倒计时Ｔ恤衫是由藤井Fumiya、石井龙也和很多名人担任设计的，从长野奥运会召开的500天前开始，每天限做一件。
选手抽签罐
速滑比赛时，用于决定选手起跑的顺序和滑道。
正式海报
展出绢谷幸二画家描绘的作品以及宝贵的长野奥林匹克运动会的正式海报。
奖牌
长野奥运会赠送的奖牌使用了日本独特的手工艺――“描金画”。这些部分是由木曾地区漆器手工艺人一个一个地用手工制作的。
桂冠
长野残奥会时赠给冠军的桂冠，是用饭田地区流传下来的传统工艺――花纸绳制作的。
采火罐
长野奥林匹克运动会的圣火是在希腊的雅典将火种采集到这个罐内的。
雪橇冰球
在长野残奥会上，选手打雪橇冰球时用过的用具。激烈的滑行比赛给人们带来无限的感动。
两人雪橇赛
雪橇赛时日本代表队使用过的两人雪橇。表面的伤损说明比赛异常激烈。
清水宏保的离合式冰鞋
金牌获得者――清水宏保使用过的冰鞋。他荣获男子速滑500米冠军，并且夺得1000米铜牌。
奥运代表团参赛选手的运动服
长野奥运会及长野残奥会出场的日本选手就是穿着这种运动服参加比赛的。

On the 3rd floor, we have an operations room to control sound and projection in order to deal with various stage performances and events.
The 2 large-scale projection systems and the special sound system which covers the whole arena, along with additional features, make it possible to create a totally new event space.
The VIP room is located on the 3rd floor, this can be divided into up to 11 separate rooms.
One of M-WAVE’s major features is its movable seating, which expands its range as a multi-purpose arena.
This movable seating can be moved around the sides of the arena. Thanks to this system, the most suitable arrangement of the stadium can be designed and prepared whatever the purpose or the event, whether it is a sports competition, a large scale gathering, or a concert. The facility has approximately 6,500 seats, with a total capacity of 20,000 people including temporary seating and standing space.
The arena floor area on the 1st floor is 13,700㎡, making it one of the biggest arenas in Nagano Prefecture. This arena is available for a wide range of events, and offers the most comfortable and exciting of spaces.
Used as an ice skating rink from October to March, it has an indoor 400m double track, the first in Japan, and an equipped and installed ice hockey rink (30m x 60m) in the center.
In the basement, there are underground parking spaces for approximately 500 cars, ice-making machines, and an air-conditioning-system control room; the whole building is controlled from this floor.
